Redemption Harem - Building New Content For v0.2

With the training system fully reworked and tested and the "attack" and euphoria scenes rendered and rewritten (and also tested), I can finally start getting into new content that's actually new gameplay, not just new dialogue and animations inside of existing gameplay.

 

Some of this has already been partially built from working on it in between the other pieces, but that includes the new Hunter profession skill, a new hunt area (which somehow feels both smaller and larger than Beerewald), and the two villages that are completely locked down in v0.1.

Those areas will still be somewhat locked down in v0.2 in the sense that you'll still need to progress a certain amount along Nadua's quest line. You won't need to do anything specific or redeem her in order to access the new areas, just progress a bit. Nadua is technically an optional character, so you won't actually need to hit either of her v0.1 end-points in order to get to the new stuff.

 

Though there may not actually be a lot of new stuff due to how long v0.2 has taken so far. As much as the Patreon and Subscribestar polls have said I should take my time and things are done when they're done, it's been almost two months without an update, and it would be fairly easy to stop here, leave the locks on the new content in place, and release a v0.1.1 update.

At the same time, taking two months to release a systems/mechanical update doesn't feel great either, and if everything goes well, the new content for v0.2 will only take another week or two to finish anyway.

Either way, the plan for v0.2 right now is to build a job board in one of the towns, build up the main story thread so you can start to figure out what's going on in the region while you've been gone through a handful of short quests, and get the first-ever Patron-requested character all rendered and implemented through a quest and make sure that content is repeatable.

Then we can get into v0.3, start wrapping up the local part of the story, and get into some new regions.
